John L. Corbitt has learned that many companies, regardless of their size, sometimes have resource constraints. They may not have a resource with the required skill and experience. Or, their resource may be committed to another project and not available. Corbitt Associates was formed to provide companies the resources to get those important projects accomplished.

John has 20+ years of experience in sales, marketing and engineering. That includes executive experience with leading-edge FORTUNE 500 high-technology companies, and pre-IPO companies where he was an officer of the company and member of the senior management team. He has held P&L responsibility and managed direct and indirect sales channels in North America, Europe and Asia.

John was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Galvantech, Inc. where his strategy and management led the company to record sales and a successful acquisition by Cypress Semiconductor Corp. He was previously the Vice President of Sales with Equator Technologies, and held similar senior management positions with Sharp Microelectronics, AVEX Electronics and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

John is a frequent author and has been published in Presentations Magazine, TechLINKS, Electronic News, PC Magazine, Upside, Business Geographics, Electronic Business and EDN. He currently publishes the TechTIP eNewsletter that is distributed to 1,700 readers worldwide.
