We like the 'dashboard' metaphor for the accurate visual image it provides.  If you are in a plane, and become disoriented in a storm - how do you find your way home?  You look at the dashboard to determine where you are, and plot a course to get home.  We work with our clients to determine the important metrics to monitor.  With our help they build a dashboard, enabling them to plot a course to their destination, even in the event of turbulence.

Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior and expecting different results."

I'm reminded of the power of process by an ancient Chinese proverb - "Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for life."

Goals, strategy, tactics, process...

We can hope for a better 2006, or we can document and implement goals, strategies, tactics and processes to have a methodology for achieving success in 2006.
