Here's how-to create an email hyperlink in Outlook (our example assumes the email editor is MS Word).  With your cursor in the body of the email select Insert Hyperlink, and under Link To: select E-mail Address.  Fill-in both fields, as shown below:  

Email address: editor@corbittassociates.com

Subject: Email Hyperlink in Outlook

After you enter the email address and Subject, this is what should be shown in the Text to display field: mailto:editor@corbittassociates.com?Subject=Email Hyperlink in Outlook

You can leave this as it is in the Text to display field, and it will work fine.  But, we go back and remove everything except the email address, for a cleaner look.  It will still function fine.

The finished hyperlink in your email would look like this editor@corbittassociates.com

When people click on your email hyperlink their email client should automatically open, and fill-in the To: and Subject: fields of a new email!

This might make your incoming emails easier to identify, and allow making rules, or decisions on what to do with the email when you know what the subject contains.
