Here's a PowerPoint TIP to deliver a polished presentation if your content contains engineering, or scientific terms that require a subscript, or superscript. If your presentation shows H2O, instead of H2O, read on.
To turn a character into a subscript, or superscript, first select it. From the Main Menu select Format, and then Font. The Font window will appear, select either the superscript, or subscript box, and then click OK. The appropriate font attribute should be applied to your selected character.
If you use subscript and superscript attributes frequently, you may want to place them on your toolbar for easy access - here's how.
From the Main Menu, select Tools, then Customize. The Customize window opens up, and then select the Command tab. On the left side, under Categories select Format. On the right side under Commands, scroll down to Subscript. Select Subscript and drag it to the toolbar where you want it to be, and drop it. Repeat that step for the Superscript, and then click Close. The Superscript and Subscript icons x2 x2 should now be on your toolbar for quick and easy access.
