Attention all CxO, VP and Directors - are you completely satisfied with the the revenue forecast from your staff?  If you answered no, read on.

Your staff may not have the training, or tools to do the job as well as they could.   We sometimes assume that management is 'omnipotent'.  But they may not have received formal training, or that chapter on forecasting in college was a long time ago.  I conduct workshops that provide the training, and tools to make your staff more effective in producing revenue forecasts; based on analysis, not guess work.

Workshop: Forecast I
• Model your historical revenue to look for seasonality, or trends
• Create a forecast (budget) that meets corporate objectives (arithmetic progression technique)
• Build dashboard to show actual REV by MO, QTR and YTD compared to the forecast, and prior year

Workshop: Forecast II
• Pareto Analysis of customers (focus on "... the vital few, not the trivial many")
• GP, ASP and Units: understanding the non-linear relationships
• Price Erosion: understand how your forecast (budget) is impacted by price erosion, and learn how to make adjustments to maintain REV $, or GP $

These are each full- day workshops and include Excel templates that provide examples and allow students to run their own analysis.  The cost for each on-site, full-day workshop is $1,000 and class size is limited to ten students.

Intermediate Excel skills and college algebra are required.  Forecast I is a prerequisite for Forecast II.

This is a great refresher course for those of you who covered forecasting in college, and a good opportunity to learn the basics now if you didn't.  These are just two examples of business workshops that are available.  Other business topics are listed in the table below under Sales and Marketing, and software topics under Training.
